The program is open to any student who meets the eligibility requirements and has been accepted for undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited institution of higher education in the United States, as well as to high school seniors applying for undergraduate study abroad programs with a duration of one year or more that are sponsored by accredited institutions of higher education in the United States.
The scholarship is open to all students who are citizens of Ethiopia and have a GPA of 3.0 or above.
The scholarship is available for undergraduate and graduate studies at any accredited university in the world.
Scholarship recipients are required to maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above, take on leadership positions in their respective communities, and return to Ethiopia after completing their studies to serve in various sectors such as teaching, public service, business and entrepreneurship.
The fully funded Ethiopia scholarships are offered by the Ethiopian Scholarship Program. The program was established in 2013 to provide financial assistance to students from Ethiopia and Africa.

Applicants must apply for admission to the school’s master’s degree program.

- scanned copy of the church recommendation form that has been filled out and signed by the applicant’s pastor
- On a second sheet, provide your own testimony.

- Official transcripts must be delivered directly to EGST’s mailing address from the candidate’s previous academic institution.
- Candidates who still owe cost-sharing must submit a provisional degree with their CGPA on it.
- An image of a bank deposit slip
Admission requirements include a minimum GPA of 2.5 overall or a minimum GPA of 2.0 in disciplines other than theology.
Language Requirement: To establish English ability, applicants must take the IELTS or an equivalent test.
The education fund for students in Ethiopia will be provided by the Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology.
